So, I decided to go to my classes today as Casual!Rose Lalonde today, since the weather was pretty nice. Towards the end of the day, I caught a ride on a little shuttle-cart to my friend’s dorm, and one of the girls on the shuttle recognized me! She said I was a dead ringer for Rose, which just made my day! <3

After I told this story to my best friend, she said I matched her headcanon for Rose. :D Best. Day. Ever.

I know my skills are limited and a little rusty, and I want to give you a good price for the best work I can offer you, so if you are interested in my art, I will let you set the price for your commission. Here’s a little more detail: I just started my first year of college and, predictably, I am needing money. I’m a hard working girl, taking as many credit hours as I can handle, and working a campus job of which all my earnings are going straight to my tuition. I am paying for my education completely on my own. All of this means I don’t have time to take on another part-time job, and also don’t have any money. I very much need money, of course, if only to buy food and class supplies (textbooks, paper, etc.). If possible, I’d like a little extra money so I can drive to see my boyfriend and family on the weekends, and maybe continue my hobbies in my limited spare time. My family is struggling and I miss them and my boyfriend a lot. I get terribly homesick. But FIRST I’d like to just get the basics.

So I’m offering commissions. I know I have limited and rusty artistic skills, and I know that the rest of you may not have a lot of money to spend on buying art, so I want to let you set your own prices based on what you think I deserve and what you can afford.Below I have base prices listed that I think are reasonable. I’d like to receive no less than $2 below the listed prices. However, I’ll be very fair with you! If you’d like me to do some art for you, just email me and we can discuss what a good price would be for the both of us. Above I have a few of the works I’ve done in the past year so you can get a general idea of my work. You can go to my art tag or my deviantart to see more.

What I need from you: An email telling me what you want. I would like at least 2 reference pictures of what you want me to draw so that I can give you the best possible product I can manage. If it’s more difficult, it will clearly take me more time to make, so have patience. If I get your email, I will respond to it to tell you if I can take your offer and to further discuss and iron out details from there. Don’t be afraid to talk to me, even if you aren’t sure about things, or if you have questions. :) I’d love to help you.
